Magnolia Blue is:

Neil Holcomb (a.k.a. "Syngltrack") - Lead Vocal and Rhythm Guitar.

My first band was a southern rock band, and I've always had a place in my heart for Skynyrd and the Allman Brothers.  My next band in high school was called Liquid Sunrise and that's when I started seeing the Dead and digging the jam band scene.  First Dead show was Merriweather in the early 80s (I've got the stub somewhere).  A graduate of West Springfield High School (Class of 86) along with Kevin.  Vocally, I definitely lean towards the gravely power blues material like Greg Allman, Warren Haynes and Joe Cocker.  A very special Maggie Blue thanks to my amazingly supportive wife Pam and my 3 kids for putting up with this band!

Love the Festival scene-- it's all about the music.  When not playing or supporting local live music, I'm into Freeride/Downhill Mountain biking.

Guitar:  Fender Strat, PRS Cu22 (Wagner Fillmore PUPs), Les Paul 57 Gold Top  RI (J.M. Rolph 57's)
Amp:  Komet 60
Effects:    QTron+, Teese Wah, Fulltone ChoralFlange, Ibanez AD99 Analog Delay

Scott Michael (a.k.a. "The Preacher") - Drums, Percussion, and Vocals.

Scott Michael has drummed in the Mid-Atlantic for more than 25 years.  A native of Baltimore, he played for The Enemy Agents, regulars at
Baltimore's famous Marble Bar. From there he moved onto Mental Floss, a wild fusion of punk, funk and R&B, gigging for years from
Washington to New York. Scott co-founded Those Who Dare in 1992 with Fred Maskeroni, with whom he also founded Spoooge (check out
spoooge.com). Scott and his brother Dan formed Token Groove in 1998 and recorded two albums with Captain Evad at the helm. Before joining
Magnolia Blue in 2007, Scott played with Mister Hand in Chicago for two years. Drums, theology, craft beer and Film Noir are Scott's
passions.

Chris Given (a.k.a.  "MC Sax-a-lot") - Lead Vocals and Alto Saxophone.

Fifteen years ago, Chris Given walked precariously away from a burgeoning music career with the Yams from Outer Space, and hasn't looked back. He now does computers but at times has the ability to come out of retirement and "Rock the Muther Fu#$%#$%ing House." Resembling a short Umpa Lumpa with a goatee and a receding hair line with the soul of old dead bluesman and the funk which could only come from down below when the temperature turns around 110 Fahrenheit Chris knows how to ROCK. If there were two words to describe Chris it would be "happy curmudgeon."

Norman Alonso von Bismarck  (a.k.a. "Norman") - Bass Guitar.

Judd was born about nine months after being conceived and began playing bass several years later.  In 2007 he returned from an 8-year engagement as a one-man band, playing bass, guitar, piano, harmonica, ukulele, mandolin, flute, percussion and singing vocals, and he looks forward to getting back to his roots.  His musical influences mostly begin with the letter "B" and include the Beatles, Beethoven, the Beach Boys, Bill Monroe, Barret (Syd), the Bobs Dylan and Marley, and both blues and bluegrass music in general.  His bass influences are more alphabetically varied and include John Paul Jones, Jaco Pastorius, Paul McCartney, and Chris Squire.

Brian Dodds (a.k.a. "Mr. T-Shirt of the Month Club") - Keys, Hammond.

Bio coming soon........

Kevin Miller (a.k.a. "Mookie") - Guitars and Vocals.

I started playing music in the 4th grade.  Back then it was Sax.  But in High School, one of the local bands needed a bass player.  Up to that point, I had never even played a bass let alone look at one in person.  So, I went out and bought a bass and bass amp on a whim.  I was hooked!  Fast forward to college, where I started playing guitar and drums, in addition to regular paying gigs on bass.

Currently, I'm using Trainwreck engineered amps, namely the Komet Constellation and the Komet KF-50  and PRS and Gibson guitars.  My musical influences are many, but guitar-wise, I've always been inspired by Dickie Betts, Alex Lifeson, and Stevie Ray Vaughn.

Also using a 1947 King Zypher Tenor Sax and Kessler Alto Sax.
